Furnishing a Family’s Future in Detroit

Ford owner Treger Strasberg founded the Detroit-based nonprofit Humble Design to help families transition out of homeless shelters by providing furnishings and design services. Without the assistance of Humble Design in setting up a clean, welcoming, functional home, 50 percent of families end up back in shelters. With their help, that stat is reduced to a mere 1 percent. Humble Design restores hope and dignity to families who have lost everything.
