While police in Lawrence, Ind. try to piece together what happened the night 19-year-old Kyle Jobin was shot and killed outside a gas station, his grieving family is left with one conclusion.
He was just in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
Still, the January 4 shooting has his family baffled and law enforcement scrambling to find the suspects who approached his car and shot him dead.
“Part of us died that night, too,” said Kyle’s dad, Joe. “He was everything to me.”
Kyle was visiting his parents, Joe Jobin and wife Cyndi, during Christmas break from Vincennes University. He went out that tragic night to meet some friends before a snowstorm rolled in.
